Sony is gearing up for another PS5 boost this month. The company has confirmed in a press release that the next batch of pre-orders for the current generation PlayStation console are set to go live in India on Wednesday 22 February at 12pm GMT. Pre-orders are open for both bundles and standalone units – particularly the versions equipped with 4K Bluray drives. This is the second PS5 boost this month following the February 7 pre-order event – the second time such an anomaly has occurred since the initial PS5 launch in India. The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in a global chip shortage around the world, reducing the chances of acquiring a PS5, although it now seems like things are moving in a positive direction.
At CES 2023earlier this year, PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan announced that gamers should have plenty “easier time” find one PS5 from local retailers.
