Donald Trump is causing a stir in the NFT arena, releasing 45,000 fantasy NFTs

Donald Trump is the latest socialite to break into the NFT sector, despite sales of digital collectibles falling for most of this year. The former President of the USA has released a collection of 45,000 fantasy cards called Trump Digital Trading Cards. The NFTs are based on the Polygon blockchain and cost $99 (roughly Rs. 8,200). Buyers can also make the purchases in Ether (ETH) tokens and fiat currencies.

These digital maps feature dramatic avatars of Trump cardwhich shows him, among other things, as a superman, an astronaut, a golfer and a boxer.

When a user checks out at 45 NFTs Immediately the buyer is presented with a ticket for a gala dinner with Trump.

A Trump-curated commercial for these NFTs has also surfaced on social media.

Meanwhile, 2022 has not been a particularly profitable year for the NFT sector.

In a report from last week’s Bloomberg said Sales of NFTs hit a 16-month low following the demise of crypto exchange FTX, citing DappRadar.

The NFT trading volumes have allegedly slipped 97 percent since January.
