Nothing Ear 2 launch on March 22 has been confirmed. Now, days before the expected launch, the earbuds’ price, availability and specs have been leaked by a tipster. However, it is worth noting that the company has not yet revealed many details about the Nothing Ear 2 TWS headphones. Meanwhile, the earbuds were spotted in the Bluetooth SIG database in December last year. Meanwhile, Nothing has also confirmed a few specs for the Ear 2 earbuds.
The launch date of the Nothing Ear 2 was confirmed from Nothing’s head of global product marketing in a Twitter post announcing that the audio device will debut on March 22nd at 15:00 GMT / 20:30 IST. The event can be streamed live on the Nothing.tech website or on their YouTube channel.
Now, days before launch, tipster SnoopyTech (@snoopytech) has leaked some of the Nothing Ear 2’s specs in a series of tweets. The Nothing Ear 2 will be launched as the successor to the popular company nothing ear 1 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds. The Nothing Ear 2 are rated for six hours of uninterrupted playback time (up to 36 hours with charging case) on a single charge. Meanwhile, 10 minutes of charging is said to offer 8 hours of playback time on the charging case, which is said to come with USB Type-C.
On the design front, Nothing Ear 2 are said to get transparent facades, while the charging case is tilted for a stronger build compared to Nothing Ear 1, with noise cancellation of up to 40dB. They will support simultaneous connection with two devices, according to the tipster.
The Nothing Ear 2 will cost 159 euros (almost 14,000 rupees) and will be available from March 28, according to the tipster.
Meanwhile, in an official tweet, Nothing has confirmed that Ear 2 offers LHDC 5.0 codec support, resulting in high-resolution audio. The head of the company, Carl Pei, has that too confirmed in an interview that the earphones will be IP54 rated.
