OnePlus launched its latest pair of OnePlus Buds Pro 2R earbuds on February 7th alongside its flagship OnePlus 11 series of smartphones. The company’s new true wireless earbuds are the budget offering alongside the higher-end OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and therefore lack some of the high-end features like wireless charging. While the features, specs and price of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R were already known via the official website listing, it is now confirmed that the earbuds will go on sale on Amazon. It features the latest Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and an ultra-low latency mode of 57ms for gaming. The earbuds also have an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
The new OnePlus Buds Pro 2R is slated to go live next month OnePlus Online shop and the e-commerce platform Amazon. A microsite is now live on Amazon confirming the same. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2R costs Rs. 9,999 and will be available from March. The company has yet to announce the exact date of sale. The wireless earbuds are sold in Obsidian Black and Misty White color options.
From now on, users can opt-in and enter their email address to receive the notification when the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R goes on sale.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2R specs, features
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2R carries most of the specs like its high-end variant OnePlus Buds Pro 2, except for wireless charging and head-tracking capabilities. The earphones feature a two-tone in-ear design. They feature dual 11mm and 6mm drivers, ANC of up to 48dB, as well as ambient noise transparency mode and low 54ms latency for gaming.
The earphones support spatial audio without head tracking and Bluetooth 5.3. The Buds Pro 2R is said to offer a total battery life of 39 hours with the charging case, while the earbuds alone offer up to nine hours of playback time with ANC off and six hours with ANC on.
