Dell unveiled three new monitors based on LG Display’s IPS Black technology ahead of the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). New products include the Dell UltraSharp 32 6K Monitor, Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor and Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub Monitor. The Dell UltraSharp 32 6K offers, as the name suggests, a 6K resolution display with VESA Display HDR 600. It has two 14W speakers and a built-in dual gain HDR 4K webcam. The Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub and Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub monitors have identical specifications. Besides the monitors, the American tech brand has also announced a new gaming controller concept called Concept Nyx, which will allow users to access game libraries across multiple devices and screens simultaneously.

Dell did not disclose pricing for the Dell UltraSharp 32 6K, which predates it CES 2023 still. However, the brand confirmed that it will be available in the first half of this year. The Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor is available with a starting price of $1,329 (approx. Rs.1,10,100) and the Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub Monitor starts at $1,259 (approx. Rs.1,04,300). ). Both models will be available from January 31st.
Dell UltraSharp 32 6K specifications
The new Dell UltraSharp 32 6K monitor works on basis LG displays IPS Black technology and offers a maximum contrast ratio of 2,000:1 instead of the normal contrast ratio of 1,000:1. It has a 32-inch panel with a resolution of 3,456 x 6,144 pixels and 99 percent coverage of the P-3 color space. It gets an adjustable incline. The panel also supports VESA DisplayHDR and has a viewing angle of 160 degrees.
Compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems, it can be connected to two PC sources simultaneously for multitasking. For video conferencing, the Dell UltraSharp 32 6K monitor offers an integrated dual-gain HDR 4K webcam. It supports features like auto framing, light adjustments, automatic safe shutter speed and includes an echo cancellation microphone. The monitor is also equipped with two 14W speakers. For connectivity, it features DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 4 ports with a power output of up to 140W.
Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub and Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub
The new UltraSharp monitors are also based on IPS Black technology and feature a tilt for improved viewing angles. The Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor features a curved WQHD display with a resolution of 1440 x 3440 pixels, a contrast ratio of 2000:1 and the ComfortView Plus low blue light solution. The monitors support 98 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. It allows users to connect and display content from two PCs using Picture-by-Picture (PBP) and Picture-in-Picture (PIP) features. It also has integrated two speakers with 5W output power.
The Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub (U4323QE) monitor allows users to connect a PC to the monitor and split it into up to four Full HD screen partitions. With the 4K monitor (2160 x 3840 pixels) you can also connect up to four different PCs to the monitor, display all four inputs and switch between them via KVM. It features USB Type-C and USB Type-A charging ports with a power output of up to 90W.
Dell Concept Nyx
In addition to the monitors, Dell and its subsidiary Alienware have introduced a new version of the Concept Nyx. The device would compete with Google Stadia and Amazon Luna upon its launch. It could replace controllers and allow games to be streamed wirelessly to a variety of screens. The prototype has a similar design to the Xbox Series X controller. It comes with a fingerprint reader and supports voice commands. Dell confirmed it’s also testing different haptics and self-adjusting variable resistance thumbsticks.
The Concept Nyx has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and features X-triggers for sensory feedback, toggle buttons, scroll buttons, and a touchpad. It would allow users to view messaging apps, emails, movies or games on split screen. With the help of artificial intelligence (AI), it aims to help people interact simultaneously in physical and virtual space.
Two games can be played simultaneously with the new device. Besides, it can also connect with multiple wireless headsets. The dashboard shows your friends’ game status and allows users to access their games.
