The Asus ROG Phone 7 series is reportedly set to launch in Q3 2023. All smartphones in the series are also expected to feature AMOLED displays that offer at least a 165Hz refresh rate.

The Asus ROG Phone 7 series could launch with the vanilla Asus ROG Phone 7, a high-end smartphone Asus ROG Phone 7D, and a top-end smartphone Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, the report said.
According to tipster, the upcoming flagship gaming smartphone series from Asus is presented QualcommThe latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC runs on Android-13 by default. The smartphones in the series are said to have AMOLED displays with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. His predecessors, the Asus ROG Phone 6And Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
Like its predecessors, the alleged Asus ROG Phone 7 series is also said to have a 6,000 mAh battery with 65 W fast charging support. The vanilla Asus ROG Phone 7 is expected to have 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, while the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate could have a variant with 512GB of internal storage. The tipster suggests that the Asus ROG Phone 7 and Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate models will hit the global market with model numbers AI205_A and AI2205_E, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Asus ROG Phone 7, Asus ROG Phone 7D and Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate are scheduled to launch in the Chinese market with model numbers AI2205_B, AI2205_D and AI2205_F. In the Indian market, the vanilla ASUS ROG Phone 7 is expected to be available with the model number AI2205_C.
The alleged flagship gaming smartphone series from Asus could be launched in the third quarter of 2023, i.e. in the months of July, August or September. However, it is important to note that Asus has not given any official confirmation or indication of the arrival of the rumored Asus ROG Phone 7 series smartphones.
