Honor Magic 5 was reportedly spotted on China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) certification website. The listing suggests that the upcoming Honor Magic 5 smartphone series could soon find its way to consumers. It also seems to suggest some key specs of the Honor Magic 5, which is set to debut alongside the Honot Magic 5 Pro and the Honor Magic 5 Ultimate.
according to a report by Sparrows News, citing the tipster’s Digital Chat Station post Office on the Chinese microblogging website Weiboa smartphone with model number PGT-AN00 believed to be the Honor Magic 5 series has surfaced in China MIIT certification website.
The Honor Magic 5 series will reportedly include the Honor Magic 5, Honor Magic 5 Pro and Honor Magic 5 Ultimate vanilla models. Meanwhile, a fourth model with an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 could also be launched as part of the upcoming series.
According to the tipster, the Honor Magic 5 Pro and Honor Magic 5 Ultimate smartphones from the upcoming Honor Magic 5 series could come with a 50-megapixel quad rear camera setup. Meanwhile, the vanilla Honor Magic 5 is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup. The tipster added that Honor may not equip these smartphones with high-megapixel cameras like those seen on the Honor 80 Pro.
an earlier one report citing the same tipster had also suggested that the Honor Magic 5 series could feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, while boasting a 6.8-inch curved display with support for 100W fast charging and 50 W wireless charging. It is important to note that Honor is yet to make any official announcements regarding the Honor Magic 5 series.
