Huawei P60, Huawei Mate 60 series is said to be equipped with Snapdragon chipsets

The Huawei P60 lineup is said to be in the works and expected to come out of cover in March next year. A tipster has now hinted that these smartphones will soon go into mass production alongside the Huawei Mate 60 series. There have been rumors that the Huawei P60 could be powered by a Kirin 9100 SoC. However, the tipster does point out that both ranges will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. In addition, these Huawei phones are expected to support 4G connectivity.

according to a tweet by Tipster Teme (Twitter: @RODENT950), the Huawei Mate 60 series could be powered by a Snapdragon chipset, codenamed SM8525. It could be a 4G variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, codenamed SM8550. Similarly, the Huawei P60 series could feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G SoC.

Teme claims that these two lineups will only offer 4G connectivity. Besides that before rumored Kirin 9100 SoC will be missing in the Huawei P60. Also this one Huawei Smartphones will soon go into mass production.

Past reports have suggested that the Huawei P60 series will debut in March 2023 Huawei Mate 50. There could also be a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor on the back.

The tipster had that before too divided alleged renders of the Huawei P60. It appears to have a pill-shaped notch on the front to accommodate the dual selfie camera. This smartphone is said to have two circular camera islands on the back. The upper island could house two large sensors, while the lower island is said to feature a small sensor and an LED flash.

On the other hand, not much more is known about the Huawei Mate 60 series at this point. Huawei has yet to officially confirm the existence of these two smartphone series.
