Launched with Android 11 out-of-the-box in February last year, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 is being updated to the latest Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 in India. The latest update is currently rolling out to users who have participated in the company’s open beta program. According to OnePlus, it will be gradually rolled out to customers. The OxygenOS 13 update for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 brings performance improvements, new security and privacy features, home widgets and OnePlus’ new aquamorph design.
According to a post shared by OnePlus on your community page, Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 update for OnePlus Nord CE 2 smartphones in India will be rolled out first to users who have signed up for the company’s open beta program. The update includes new theme themes, customization features like Aquamorphic Theme theme colors, a world clock widget for the home screen, the Quantum Animation Engine 4.0, and optimized widgets, fonts, and system icons.
The Android 13 update for the OnePlus Nord CE2 also brings enhanced security and privacy, according to OnePlus, which adds an automatic pixelation feature for chat screenshots. It also comes with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption support for files on the handset.
The latest update has also improved system speed, stability, battery life, app experience, and upgraded to HyperBoost GPA 4.0 for gaming to reduce power consumption. It also offers redesigned media playback controls, streamlined quick settings, and features like the sidebar toolbox floating window.
Users can manually check for updates by going to the phone’s Settings app and install them by selecting Software update >Download the update on her OnePlus Nord CE 2.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G was started in February 2022 with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC and Android 11)-based OxygenOS 11 ready to use. The smartphone receives its second major OS update.
