Oppo A98 5G with 67W SuperVOOC charging is coming soon

Oppo A98 5G will be launched in Malaysia soon. The Chinese smartphone maker has announced the arrival of a new A-series smartphone through its social media channel. Ahead of an official launch, the A-series smartphone was listed on the company’s official website, which reveals its key specifications. The Oppo A98 5G is said to come with 67W SuperVOOC charging support and a 64MP rear camera unit. The handset’s display is designed for a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Oppo A98 5G comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

Oppo has via its official Twitter handle confirmed the arrival of the new Oppo A98 5G in Malaysia. The company has listed The handset on its Malaysian website reveals its specifications. It has also started taking pre-orders for the phone. However, the exact launch date and price details of the smartphone are not yet known.

The Oppo A98 5G is said to come with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a hole punch cutout to accommodate the selfie sensor. It’s confirmed to sport an AI-assisted triple rear camera unit, led by a 64-megapixel primary sensor with 40x micro-lens camera magnification. The upcoming smartphone will be supported by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 67 W SuperVOOC charging.

The listing suggests black and blue color options for the Oppo A98 5G. It’s confirmed to be powered by an unnamed Snapdragon SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The built-in RAM can be expanded up to 16 GB with unused onboard storage.

According to a recent leak, the Oppo A98 5G runs on Android 13-based ColorOS 13 and has a 6.7-inch LTPS LCD display (1080 x 2400 pixels). It is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC. It’s tipped to have a 32-megapixel camera sensor on the front.
