Oppo K11 5G was launched in China today (July 25) as the company’s latest K-series mobile phone. The new 5G smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 782G SoC and is available in three RAM and storage configurations. It is offered in two color options and the handset has a punch hole cutout on the display to house the selfie camera. On the rear is a triple camera, led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor. The Oppo K11 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
Oppo K11 5G price, availability
The price of the Oppo K11 5G starts at 1,899 CNY (about 21,000 rupees) for the base model with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs CNY 2,099 (approx. Rs. 24,000) and the top-end version with 12GB RAM + 512GB storage costs CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs. 29,000). It is offered in Glacier Blue and Moon Shadow Gray shades (translated from Chinese).
The handset is currently available preorder in China via the company website. Details on the global availability and pricing of the new Oppo K11 5G are yet to be announced.
Specifications of the Oppo K11 5G
The Dual SIM (Nano) Oppo K11 5G runs on Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 and features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2412 pixels) OLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, HDR10+ support, a pixel density of 394 ppi and a maximum touch sampling rate of 240 Hz TÜV Rheinland Blue Emission Certification and is rated for 1,100 nits local peak brightness and 2,160 Hz PWM high frequency dimming. The 5G handset is powered by a 6nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G SoC clocked at 2.7GHz, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Oppo claims that the K11 5G scored 7,19,702 points on the AnTuTu platform. Onboard storage is expandable up to 20GB with 8GB of virtual RAM support. In addition, it features a 4,129mm square vapor chamber liquid cooling plate for gaming.
In terms of optics, the Oppo K11 5G has a triple rear camera assembly consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Selfies and video calls are managed by a 16-megapixel front camera. The handset offers up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The connectivity options of the Oppo K11 5G include WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/A-GPS and a USB Type-C port. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, color temperature sensor, IR controller, gravity sensor, light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and the handset also supports a face unlock feature. It also includes an X-axis linear motor.
oppo has equipped the Oppo K11 5G with a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 100W flash charging. The intelligent charging technology should fill the battery from zero to 50 percent in just 10 minutes and to 100 percent in 26 minutes. After 1,600 charge-discharge cycles, the battery capacity should still be over 80 percent. Also, the handset measures 75.5 x 162.7 x 8.23 mm and weighs 184 grams.
