Oppo Reno 10 Series India Launch Timeline Tipped, Reno 9 Lineup May Be Skipped

The Oppo Reno 10 series phones could soon be launched in India. The Oppo Reno 9 series smartphones with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz were launched in China in November last year. It was highly speculated that the lineup, which included the Oppo Reno 9 Pro+, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 models, would make its debut in other global markets including India, but a new leak suggests that Oppo may have the withheld decision to launch in India. Instead, the Chinese smartphone brand is reportedly preparing to launch the Reno 10 series in the country in the first half of next month. Recently, Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G schematics surfaced online, suggesting thin bezels and a punched-out display design.

A report of 91Mobiles has suggested the launch details of the Oppo Reno 10 series in India, citing tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414). According to the leak, the launch will happen in the first or second week of February. The Chinese smartphone brand is expected to skip the Oppo Reno 9 range in India. However, oppo has not shared any information about the new Reno series and it is unclear how many models will be included in the Reno 10 series.

Recently schematics of the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G appeared on Weibo. It proposed a perforated display design, thin bezels, and a new camera design with a MariSilicon-branded pill-shaped camera module. Another leak suggested that the Oppo Reno 10 series will be launched sometime in the middle of the year. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ is rumored to have a periscope zoom camera.

That Oppo Reno 9 Pro+, Reno 9 Proand reno 9 smartphones were started in China in November last year. The vanilla Oppo Reno 9 price starts from 2,499 CNY (about Rs. 28,500) for the base 8GB + 256GB model.

They offer up to 512 GB of onboard storage and have 32- Megapixel selfie shooter. The vanilla Oppo Reno 9 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SOC, while the Reno 9 Pro features a Snapdragon 778G SoC. The Reno 9 Pro+ is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
