Oppo Reno 8T 5G and Oppo Reno 8T were launched in Vietnam on Thursday. The 5G model is powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset, while the variant with 4G connectivity has a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC under the hood. Both smartphones are equipped with triple rear cameras and have a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. They pack 8GB of RAM and offer up to 256GB of onboard storage. The available storage in the new Oppo phones can be “expanded” up to 16GB by utilizing unused space. The Oppo Reno 8T 5G has a 108MP main camera on the back and a 4,800mAh battery. The Oppo Reno 8T comes with a 100MP sensor on the back and packs a 5,000mAh battery.
Oppo Reno 8T 5G, Oppo Reno 8T price, availability
The price of Oppo Reno 8T 5G has been Sentence at VND 9,990,000 (approx. Rs. 35,000) for the base variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It is currently available for pre-reservation in Vietnam in Black Starlight and Dawn Gold color options. Pricing details for the 256GB storage variant have yet to be announced.
The Oppo Reno 8T price, on the other hand, does Sentence at VND 8,490,000 (approx. Rs. 29,800) for the only model with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. It is offered in Black Starlight and Sunset Orange shades. It is currently available through various retail channels in Viet Nam.
The Oppo Reno 8T 5G is Launch confirmed in India on February 3rd. However, official details on the worldwide launch of the Oppo Reno 8T have yet to be confirmed.
Oppo Reno 8T 5G specifications
The Dual SIM (Nano) Oppo Reno 8T 5G is equipped with ColorOS 13.0 and has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2412 pixels) curved OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a screen-to-screen -Body ratio of 93 percent and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display is designed for a peak brightness of 950 nits, a pixel density of 394 ppi and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The new Oppo smartphone is powered by a 6nm octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and an Adreno 619 GPU.
For optics, the Oppo Reno 8T 5G has a triple rear camera unit that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens. The camera setup also includes a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an 89-degree field of view and an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/3.3 lens. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 32-megapixel selfie sensor with an f/2.4 lens on the front.
The Oppo Reno 8T 5G comes with up to 256GB of UFS2.2 storage. The built-in memory can be further expanded via a MicroSD card. The connectivity options of the 5G smartphone include 5G, GPS/A-GPS, USB OTG, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and a USB Type-C port. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, e-compass, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, gravity sensor, pedometer, and proximity sensor. The handset also packs a fingerprint scanner and supports face recognition functionality.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno comes with a 4,800mAh battery and support for 67W SuperVOOC charging support. This fast-charging mechanism is designed to fill the battery from zero to 100 percent in just 44 minutes. In addition, a 5-minute charge should provide up to 5.5 hours of talk time. It measures 162.3 x 74.3 x 7.7mm and weighs 171g.

It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, coupled with a Mali-G57 GPU and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

It supports 33W SuperVOOC fast-charging support, which is said to get the battery from zero to 54 minutes in just 30 minutes, and a five-minute charge is said to deliver up to two hours of talk time. Also, it measures 160.8 x 73.84 x 7.8mm and weighs 183g.
