The Realme GT Neo 5 release date has been officially confirmed. Realme’s new premium smartphone will be launched in China on February 9th. Ahead of the official launch, the company has started testing the main specs and features of the upcoming Realme smartphone. The Realme GT Neo 5 has already been confirmed to support 240W SuperVOOC fast charging. The device is said to offer up to 2 hours of talk time on a 30-second charge. The company has released another set of teasers revealing the design and some key specs of the Realme GT Neo 5.
Realme used Weibo to do this discover the design of the GT Neo 5. The phone has a curved back and frame. The back panel utilizes AG Glass technology and offers a matte finish for the Purple Fantasy color option. The device features a two-tone back, with the upper part housing a giant rectangular block for the two circular camera cutouts, an LED flash module, and the RGB lights. Also, two vertical stripes run along the rectangular camera island to the bottom edge of the phone.
It has also been confirmed that the Realme GT Neo 5 will have a triple rear camera setup. The LED flash module is placed next to the camera sensors. There’s a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera sensor. The device will also have optical image stabilization (OIS).
It will also feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC along with an IR blaster and NFC chip. As mentioned above, the Realme GT Neo 5 supports 240W fast charging.
realme is rumored to start the phone in two battery and charging configurations. The 240W fast-charge variant is said to have a 4,600mAh battery, while the 150W fast-charge variant has a larger 5,000mAh battery.
