The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G has reportedly appeared on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website with model number SM-A346M. It was posted to the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification page on the US regulator’s website shortly after it arrived. The listing hints at an upcoming global launch of the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, including India. The phone is expected to debut as the successor to the Galaxy A33 and could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC.
According to My Smart Price report, the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G was spotted on an FCC listing with model number SM-A346M, just a day after it was spotted on the BIS website with model number SM-A346E. the FCC listing reveals that the phone has support for 25W wired charging, according to the report. Prior to these lists, the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G was also spotted in the Bluetooth SIG database and benchmarking website Geekbench, which revealed some of its key specs.
previous reports recommend Samsung Galaxy A34 5G will feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC.
Older now leaks claim that the phone will come in four color options – Graphite, Lime, Silver and Purple. Different design leaks also suggest that the phone will have a waterdrop-style cutout on the display to accommodate the selfie camera.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A34 5G is said to come with a triple rear camera setup, including a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro lens.
The new smartphone from the South Korean tech giant is said to be the successor to the Samsung Galaxy A33, which launched in India in March 2022. The phone costs Rs. 28,499 and runs on an octa-core Exynos 1280 SoC and up to 8GB of RAM. In addition to the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, the Samsung Galaxy A54 will also be launched as the successor to the Samsung Galaxy A53.
