Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 receives December security update: report

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is reportedly receiving the December 2022 Android security patch in the US. The latest update, which reportedly fixes over 90 vulnerabilities, is said to be available to users on the AT&T network. According to the report, other US airlines are expected to receive the patch in the coming days. The update comes after Samsung’s November security patch, which followed the rollout of Android 13-based One UI 5.0 for eligible Galaxy devices.

Galaxy Z Fold 4 US users can go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to get the latest patch on their device if they didn’t receive the OTA update automatically.

The tech giant had announced the A user interface 5.0 at the Samsung Developer Conference in October and presented several new features. This included a range of personalization options such as custom modes and routines, a dynamic lock screen, and a Bixby voice assistant text call feature that allowed phone calls to be answered and typed messages to be shared with the caller.
