The Redmi Note 12 Pro series, which includes the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, is scheduled to launch in India on January 5th. Now the smartphones have been listed on Flipkart ahead of the release. The Xiaomi-owned sub-brand has already confirmed the launch dates for the upcoming Redmi Note 12 Pro series and teased several specifications. The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G is expected to feature a 200MP triple rear camera module.
A microsite for the coming Redmi Note 12 Pro Series runs on Flipkart. The site mentions the January 5 release date and offers customers the option to receive notifications of the phone’s launch. There’s no word on how much the phones will cost – the company is expected to announce availability and pricing on the launch date.
The Flipkart listing also shows the 200-megapixel main camera on the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G. It also confirms that the handset will be launched in three color variants – Arctic White, Iceberg Blue and Obsidian Black.
It also mentions the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G’s 120W fast charging capabilities and 120Hz AMOLED display. Redmi claims that the smartphone can be charged to 100 percent in 19 minutes. The website also states that the handset will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5Gmeanwhile is expected to offer a 50MP primary lens as part of a triple rear camera setup with support for optical image stabilization.
The handset sports a 120Hz display and a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset, just like the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G. While the smartphone maker hasn’t confirmed any details about the handset’s battery and fast charging capabilities, it does claim that Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G users will be able to charge a full day in 15 minutes.
The Redmi Note 12 series, which included the vanilla Redmi Note 12 in addition to the Pro models, was launched in China in October. Redmi has not yet confirmed whether the base model will be launched in India.
