Vivo Y35m launched with 15W fast charging: details

The Vivo Y35m was unveiled on Monday as Vivo’s latest Y-series budget smartphone. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and is currently only being launched for the Chinese market. The handset has arrived in China in three available internal storage options. The Vivo Y35m features a polycarbonate body that comes in two color options. The handset was launched with up to 8GB of RAM and packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.

Vivo Y35m price, availability

The price of the newly launched Vivo Y35m starts from 1,399 CNY (about Rs. 16,800) for the base model with 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. The phone is also available in a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration which is priced at 1,599 CNY (roughly Rs. 19,800). There is also a third top-of-the-line variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage which is priced at 1,699 CNY (about Rs. 20,400).

The Vivo Y35m comes in two color options – Starry Black and Star Orange (translated).

live has not yet given any official word on an international release of the budget smartphone Vivo Y35m.

Vivo Y35m specifications

The dual SIM (nano) Vivo Y35m is running Android 13 with OriginOS Forest on top. It features a 6.51 inch HD+ (1,600 x 720 pixels) IPS display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz. The display features a waterdrop notch design that houses the front camera and is surrounded by a fairly thin frame. However, the chin of the budget smartphone is a bit thicker. The company claims the smartphone has an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Vivo’s latest Y-series budget smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. As mentioned, the smartphone launched with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and it also offers support for storage expansion via a microSD card.

The Vivo Y35m is supported by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. The smartphone runs Android 13 with an additional layer of Origin OS Forest added above. The smartphone uses a USB Type-C port for charging and also houses a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio plug-in.

In terms of image capture capabilities, the Vivo Y35m features a dual rear camera setup, led by a 13-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, the Vivo Y35m has a 5-megapixel camera on the front.

In terms of locking features, the Vivo Y35m houses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner while also supporting AI face unlock.
