The Vivo Y56 5G smartphone was launched by the company in India on Saturday. Sales of the handset through offline retail stores began on February 15. The device is also now available for purchase on the official Vivo website. Vivo’s newly launched smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It has 50MP dual rear cameras and a 5,000mAh battery. The device is sold in a single RAM and storage configuration and is offered in two color options.

The Dual SIM (Nano) Vivo Y56 5G runs on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 and features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2408 pixels) LCD screen. According to the company, it is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. By using the smartphone’s unused onboard memory, the built-in RAM can be “expanded” up to 16 GB.
The dual rear camera unit of the Vivo Y56 5G consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front of the smartphone there is a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video chats. It also has 128GB of internal storage.
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, OTG, FM radio and a USB Type-C port are among the connectivity options offered by the Vivo Y56 5G. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope and proximity sensor are included in the new one live Phone. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the side for biometric authentication.
The Vivo Y56 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging via the USB Type-C port. It measures 164.05 x 75.60 x 8.15mm and weighs 184 grams, according to the company.
