Lenovo Tab Extreme, Smartpaper Tablet could be presented at CES 2023

Lenovo is gearing up to unveil a variety of new products at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023, but has kept a low profile on its presentation at the event. However, the Chinese tech giant’s entire CES lineup appears to have been leaked. A popular tipster has apparently posted Lenovo’s CES 2023 listing on Twitter, revealing a number of the company’s new products. The leak shows that Lenovo could unveil the Lenovo Tab Extreme at the event. Aside from a range of laptops and the long-awaited ThinkPhone, Lenovo also appears to be preparing to launch SmartPaper, a tablet for reading and noting.

Tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) sent makes for Lenovois whole CES 2023 Product range on Twitter on Friday. His tweets also include renderings of Lenovo Tab Extremewhich provides a first detailed look at Lenovo’s upcoming tablet.

The renderings of the tablet suggest a flat case design, similar to the new iPads. The tablet is seen in a gray colorway and with thin bezels and a large screen. The tablet renderers also show a USB Type-C charging port. The Lenovo Tab Extreme renders also include a detachable keyboard accessory and stylus. The tablet in the images appears to have a dual rear camera and LED flash, as well as a front-facing camera running the length of the tablet.

Blass also posted renders of a Lenovo SmartPaper tablet. The SmartPaper, seen in gray color, appears to come with a pen and appears to be a tablet for illustrating, noting and reading. However, the SmartPaper appears to only have a monochrome screen, just like the Kindle e-reader.

In addition to the two devices, the tipster also posted renderings of the upcoming one ThinkPhone and Lenovo’s Yoga and Legion laptop series, among others. The upcoming devices are expected to be presented at CES 2023, which starts on January 5th.

The Lenovo Tab Extreme was leaked from the device in November popped up on the Google Play Console listing page. The tablet is to be tuned to the MediaTek MT8798Z SoC, also called Dimensity 9000. The listing also pointed to the Tab Extreme including 8 GB of RAM.

The tablet’s listing in the Google Play Console also mentioned that the device would run Android 13 and have a large screen with a resolution of 3,000 x 1,876 pixels.
