The ZTE Nubia Pad 3D is set to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 event, which is scheduled to take place on February 28. The ZTE booth in Barcelona for this year’s MWC will showcase the 5G-enabled Nubia Pad 3D, which offers users 3D imaging without the need for special 3D glasses. According to the company, this is the world’s first AI technology designed to display images in 3D. The technology is said to track the user’s eye movement to project images that create a 3D effect without the need for 3D glasses.
According to an official post on the Chinese microblogging website, WeiboZTE Nubia Pad 3D was confirmed to launch at the MWC 2023 Event scheduled for February 28th in Barcelona. The 5G-enabled tablet is said to use AI technology that tracks the user’s eye movements and simulates a 3D effect while viewing images without the need for special 3D glasses. As mentioned, ZTE has claimed that this is the world’s first AI technology designed to display images in 3D.
Regarding other design and specification details, the ZTE Nubia Pad 3D comes with a thin bezel while housing two front-facing cameras on the display. Between the two front-facing cameras is a large sensor that can be used for the headline-making, glassless 3D feature. The sensors could help track the user’s eye movements, which could be processed to dynamically illuminate the 3D viewing.
ZTE’s stand at MWC 2023 in Barcelona, Spain, will be located in Hall 3 of Fira Gran Via, as the poster shared on Weibo also confirms. ZTE Nubia Pad 3D will be unveiled at 12:30 PM IST, added the official teaser poster.
The poster also seems to hint at the presence of speaker grilles, along with a charging port on the right edge. The teaser poster image shows the tablet in a rectangular flat frame with square edges.
More information on the full specs, design and pricing of the latest tablet is expected to be kept under wraps until its scheduled unveiling. Nevertheless, ZTE is likely to cause a stir at MWC by announcing an innovation that could transform the way we consume 3D content.
