Diablo IV will receive two beta test sessions next month. According to developer Blizzard, those who pre-ordered the title will get early access from March 17-19 and get a deeper dive into the early game, which includes the prologue and Act 1. The following week, from March 24th to March 26th, all players can participate in the open beta phase and experience the power of the Burning Hells, although leveling is capped at 25. The upcoming Diablo 4 also includes a cosmetic-focused Battle Pass system, due out June 6th on PC and consoles.

Both beta phases offer a first taste of the DiabloIV Campaign as players explore the snowy tundras of Fractured Peaks and encounter numerous demons roaming in the dark. While not specifically mentioning how long it will take to clear this region, blizzard claims that the contents of Act 1 will be complete. However, since this is a beta, you’d better expect minor performance issues and outages. All feedback from the open beta periods will be evaluated to make final adjustments for the launch of the game. While IGN’s Fanfest Event, the studio also dropped a film that served as a look into the remote, icy realms where a specially created weary traveler stumbles upon a mysterious, bloodthirsty enemy. Blizzard also reiterated that progress made during the beta will not carry over to full purchase.

According to IGN, each custom character you create will be shown in multiple cutscenes in exact likeness, depending on the cosmetics and appearance you choose in the character creation screen. As already mentioned, diablo 4 contains a Battle Pass System, covering a variety of clothing options, tattoos, weapons, hairstyles, and emotes. However, it is divided into two parts: Free and Premium. The former is open to all and offers gameplay boosts to all players based on the challenges you complete. The premium version costs $10 (approx. Rs. 827) in game currency and focuses solely on aesthetics. However, Blizzard hasn’t revealed whether you could use gameplay-unlocked currency to purchase additional versions of the Battle Pass.
