EA Sports FC 24 – earlier, FIFA — will reportedly be released on September 29th. According to reliable data miner billbil-kun, EA’s annual (but rebranded) soccer sim game will be available in Standard and Ultimate editions, with the latter, in contrast, granting one-week early access FIFA 23 for three days – starting on September 22nd. Meanwhile, players who have subscribed to the EA Play service will get a 10-hour free trial. Back in April, the publisher promised more information about EA Sports FC in July, and the timing of this leak also seems extremely opportune to me. The title marks EA Sports’ first football game since ending its relationship with the global football governing body, which resulted in the company losing its iconic ‘FIFA’ nickname.
The report also refers to another leak out of Twitter User @ALumia_Italia who has earned a reputation for scratching that Xbox Backend adding file sizes for the EA Sports FC 24 closed betas. According to the miner, the Xbox Series X The version weighs 41.57 GB while the old generation Xbox One The beta version is 39.23 GB. It’s not surprising that the game is available on older generation consoles considering the FIFA franchise has always been competitive by nature call of Duty – so that they could target or cover a larger player base across all markets and platforms. The Publisher revealed the official logo for EA Sports FC in April – shaped like an inverted triangle derived from the game marker floating on players’ heads. That’s what the franchise will be called going forward, although it’s unlikely there will be any major changes to the base gameplay. For the uninitiated, EA Sports had financial disagreements with the FIFA association, with the latter allegedly making demands over $1 billion (approx. Rs. 8,253 crore) every four years to license the nickname for the long-running series. EA CEO Andrew Wilson then responded to the demands, claiming he was ready to remove the “FIFA” branding from his games and that the only value EA ever received from the license in a non-World Cup year were the “four letters on the box”. The studio will continue to retain most of its existing football club and top league licenses, including the premier leaguewhich allegedly cost 588 million US dollars (about 4,852 crore rupees).
Meanwhile, last year the FIFA Football Association suggested collaborating with other third-party developers to create their own game. “I can assure you that the only authentic, real game that bears the FIFA name is the best available to gamers and football fans. The FIFA name is the only global original title. FIFA 23FIFA 24, FIFA 25 and FIFA 26 and so on – the constant is the name FIFA and it will remain forever and will remain THE BEST,” said Gianni Infantino, FIFA President, in one media release.
If the leaks are true, EA Sports FC 24 should be out on PC on September 29th. PS4, PS5Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X. It is not yet known if the upcoming sports title will be available on the Nintendo Switchlike previous entries in the series.
