PlayStation has announced June 2023 free monthly games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Free Games of the Month include three free titles – NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2 and Trek to Yomi – available from June 6th to July 3rd for PS Plus members at Essential, Extra and Deluxe/Premium tiers become. The video game brand confirmed the titles coming to PS Plus this month PlayStation Blog on Thursday. The blog also reminded PS Plus subscribers that they have until June 6th to download May’s monthly free gameswhich include grid legends, descendersAnd chivalry 2. Free June games are available until July 3rd and can be added to both PS4 and PS5 game libraries. PS Plus members will continue to get access to the three titles as long as they are subscribed to the service.
NBA 2K23
2K’s annual NBA titles are known for their deep systems, immersive gameplay, and cutting-edge graphics. Released in September last year, NBA 2K23 is their latest entry in the legendary basketball game series. Of course, a lot should be known here for fans of the franchise, but 2K23 also brings some changes. The Jordan Challenge, starring NBA legend Michael Jordan, returns to the series, while MyNBA mode also gets some updates, allowing players to go back in time and play NBA seasons from the 1980s, 90s, and 2000s.
Of course, the game also brings some new gameplay improvements, with a new shooting feel. As always, NBA 2K23 features a fully licensed roster of your favorite NBA teams and stars. The release of 2K23 on PS Plus is also great timing as the NBA Finals begin this week and the Denver Nuggets take on the Miami Heat in Game 1 on Friday at 6:00pm IST. NBA 2K23 will be playable on both PS4 And PS5.

Trek to Yomi brings the ethos of Kurosawa-style samurai cinema to a side-scrolling action game that tells a gripping story of family and revenge. Rendered in cinematic black and white, Trek to Yomi puts you in the shoes of Hiroki, a young apprentice who embarks on a bloody quest for revenge after his village burns to the ground. Hiroki matures into a katana-wielding, limb-chopping samurai whose journey takes him to Yomi, the land of the dead.
While Trek to Yomi boasts a robust, moving narrative and a distinct art style, it also offers gripping side-scrolling action. With a katana at your disposal, use attacks, heavy attacks, and timed blocks strategically to break through ranks of enemies standing between you and your target. Ranged weapons like bows and bo-shuriken also add another layer to combat. Over time, upgrades will help you grow stronger, and it’s imperative that players explore the corners of each level to earn important health and stamina upgrades.
Trek to Yomi will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
Also PlayStation in early May announced the selection of games to be included in the catalog of games available to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium tier subscribers. New titles for May include: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Watch Dogs: Legion, thymesiaboth dishonored 2 and its standalone extension Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, humanity, and more. Higher tier PS Plus members will be able to access these titles starting May 16th.
PS Plus subscription in India starts at Rs. 499 per month for Essential tier. The extra tier of subscription service costs Rs. 749 per month while the top tier deluxe membership costs Rs. 849 per month. PS Plus’ free monthly games will be available on all three tiers of the service through July 3rd.
