Overwatch 2 adding dating simulator, one punch man skin for season 3

The Overwatch 2 Season 3 event is now live and comes with a ton of new content. The latest update introduces a new Asian Mythology theme, a new ice-based control map and an external dating simulator called Loverwatch for Valentine’s Day. Developer Blizzard Entertainment has also unveiled a roadmap for the coming months that includes the first-ever major IP collaboration for Overwatch 2 – the hugely popular Japanese anime One-Punch Man. Even the aptly titled PachiMarchi event from the original Overwatch returns in March with a new limited-time Kill Confirmed mode and other in-game cosmetic rewards.

Overwatch 2 Season 3: Asian Mythology Theme and Kiriko Amaterasu Skin

On February 13th blizzard will launch the browser-based Loverwatch, described as a “non-canonical text-based dating sim” where players have a chance to charm Mercy or Genji. Similar to most dating simulators, the site gives you dialogue options to interact with, in addition to a cupid – looks like Hanzo – who will help you out. The event runs until February 28th and has a secret ending that grants players a POTG (Play of the Game) highlight with a romantic Hanzo upon unlocking. The dating sim will go live exclusively www.loverwatch.ggand takes about 30 minutes.

Blizzard is also bringing a Hanzo 4v4 mode on February 14th and some Healer gamemodes that will allow you to earn some cosmetics and other rewards. This event ends on the 28th.

Overwatch 2 Season 3: Collaboration with One-Punch Man

In a surprising turn of events, Overwatch 2 has teamed up with the Japanese anime One punch man bring themed skins and cosmetics into play. It only makes sense that the buff Talon Doomfist would get Saitama’s outfit since his powerful Rocket Punch attack is themed to match the anime character. There is currently no information on how to unlock the skin, but Blizzard claims that the collaboration event will be live from March 7th to April 6th.

Finally, the PachiMarchi event returns – it runs from March 21st to April 4th – with a limited-time Kill Confirmed mode and an epic skin for Roadhog, where he sports a plush Pachimari tattoo on his rounded belly . The skin can be unlocked by completing a series of themed challenges while simply logging into the game during the event period and being rewarded with an exclusive player icon.
