As a development-oriented company, StockCharts is always looking for ways to improve its user experience.
We needed a way for users to access and view the changes to our site, so earlier this year we switched to a release mockup format. If you haven’t visited StockCharts recently, you might have missed:
Start with “alcohol,” affectionately named after a neighborhood in Washington State where our headquarters are located, we rolled out scheduled scans, additional chart listsand the ability to add revenue data directly to your charts so you never miss a report!
SCHEDULED SCANNING. Set your scans to run on specific days of the week and/or times.
Next was “Bainbridge.”
Here we’ve introduced “Chart Panels” for the first time, allowing you to pin three of your most important charts directly to your dashboard.
CARD FIELDS. You can pin up to three of your charts directly to your dashboard.
Also of note was the addition of intraday chart periods, which divide each standard trading day into equal blocks of time.
Now we are on our latest release, “Camano”, which debuted on December 19. Perhaps our most exciting release yet, this one is chock-full of firsts!
Let’s start with our biggest announcement… StockCharts officially has one apartment! Now existing members can carry stock charts in their pockets and get real-time data on the go.

We have also ventured into the world of optionswhich provides you with data that includes calls, puts, volume and open interest for the entire option chain of an underlying stock.
