Calling all Key lime pie lovers: This Central Florida festival is for you

VIERA, Fla. – Over 150 art exhibitors, activities, food and live animals will be at the Space Coast Key Lime Pie Festival this weekend.

At this three-day festival, guests will experience the flavors of Florida Key lime pie with various options for slices, bowls or whole pies- a treat for all Key lime pie enthusiasts.

Each day attendees will be immersed in culinary events and food tasting, including a Key lime cocktail Sip & Stroll, live music and international food.

The festival, which starts Friday, will include live performances by various artists, including Lee Greenwood, and wrap up with fireworks.

Children will be able to enjoy a fun zone featuring bounce houses, mechanical fair rides and a petting zoo.

The interactive festival will also feature live animals, such as reptiles with Jimmy Riffle of Animal Planet’s “The Gator Boys,” The Space Coast Daily Petting Zoo and Squawk the Amazing Bird Show.

Festivalgoers can satisfy their sweet tooth by participating in Key lime pie eating contests as well as a baking contest.

Parking is available for $5 and all festival proceeds will go toward Drown Zero, a project by the Cocoa Beach Rotary Club to help prevent drownings.
