ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – The new owners of 31 Supper Club on the main drag of Ormond Beach have toured around the world and now, they’re putting roots in Central Florida.
Dana Kamide and Sharon Aguilar Kamide are a musical duo both regionally and nationally. They perform at corporate events, upscale venues, hotels, resorts and the theme parks.
In November, they were nominated for a Grammy for Best Children’s Album: Solid Rock Revival by Rock For Children. Proceeds from the album go toward Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers, which provides free music, dance, arts and vocational training programs for kids 12 to 20 in Phoenix, Mesa, and soon Goodyear, Arizona.
Sharon Aguilar Kamide is a former guitarist for CeeLo Green. She’s performed at venues like Madison Square Garden opening for Prince and Wembley. She plays lead guitar, violin, and fiddle, and she’s a songwriter.
Dana Kamide headlined the stage at The Venetian Palazzo in Las Vegas for several years. He’s also is producer, songwriter, singer and pianist.
The couple has owned 31 Supper Club in Ormond Beach since October, and they have big goals for the business. They want to bring more artists to the venue.
