ORLANDO, Fla. – Dezerland is hosting its annual FamilyFest this weekend, with prizes and tons of activities.
The festival is happening this Saturday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
FamilyFest will feature displays with dozens of helpful resources and services to promote healthy parenting.
There will be a variety of family-friendly activities for families to participate in, such as the traditional Diaper Derby, a “crawling race,” for babies 12 months or younger.
The festival offers activities that the entire family can take part in, such as corn hole, dance lessons, giant Jenga and the opportunity to win a birthday bowling party, a three-month family membership to the Central Florida YMCA and other prizes.
Dezerland attractions will give families access to over 20 outdoor attractions, which include Dezerland’s boutique, bowling alley and indoor synthetic ice-skating rink.
Kids are also in for a treat with Dezerland being home to Florida’s longest indoor karting track which includes up to three speed levels.
FamilyFest is free for kids and parents can purchase general admission tickets online for $5 or pay $8 at the door.
Attendees can purchase VIP packages for $20 which gives guests exclusive access to guest in-and-out privileges at the expo, four admission tickets and a digital copy of “Extraordinary Parenting: How to Raise Kids to Become Geniuses.”
