LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Your time to enjoy the wintery sights and sounds of Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is melting away.
On Thursday, Walt Disney World announced that the park will close for refurbishment beginning March 17, the same day that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park reopens.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon has been closed for its scheduled refurbishment since Nov. 6.
When guests return to Typhoon Lagoon, they will once again have the opportunity to enjoy the park’s incredible surf pool, float down Castaway Creek or plunge down Mount Mayday and Crush ‘n’ Gusher.
The park also has a lineup of delicious food and drinks around the park including a Caribbean-spiced salad, jerk shrimp rice bowl or sand pail sundae.
