PALM BAY, Fla. – The Strawberry Fest is back in Palm Bay this weekend, filling Fed Poppe Regional Park with live music, games and, of course, strawberries!
There will be lots of activities to enjoy on Saturday and Sunday, whether you’re with friends or family. There will be axe throwing, bounce houses, pony rides, a free petting zoo and lots of contests to take part in.
Some of the sweet treats you can expect include:
-
Plant City strawberries
-
Strawberry fudge
-
Strawberry lemonade
-
Strawberry shortcake
A portion of the proceeds from this event will go toward the Children’s Hunger Project, a nonprofit in Brevard County that “provides weekend meals and fights childhood hunger and malnutrition during the school year,” according to its website.
There will also be vendors out there to shop from.
It costs $7 to get into the event, but you can get $1 off admission if you bring a canned good.
