Director and producer Zoya Akhtar unveiled the first poster of the show’s second season on Thursday made in heaven. Taking to Instagram, Zoya shared the show’s first poster with the caption: “The weddings, the drama and the mayhem will double in size. #MadeInHeavenS2OnPrime is coming soon!”
The official release date of the second season created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti is still awaited. The show will be streamed on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
Made In Heaven is the story of two wedding planners in Delhi, where tradition competes with modern aspirations, against the backdrop of big, fat Indian weddings that betray many secrets and lies. Produced by Excel Entertainment, the show was created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti and co-written with Alankrita Shrivastava. Akhtar, Shrivastava, Nitya Mehra and Prashant Nair directed the nine episodes of the first season.
Shortly after the creators unveiled the show’s first poster, fans flooded the comments section with red hearts and fire emoticons.

Meanwhile, Zoya recently revealed the teaser for her upcoming movie The Archies This marks the acting debuts of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana, Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi daughter Khushi Kapoor, as well as megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya.
The 1-minute teaser reveals that the film is set in 1964 Riverdale, described on a railroad sign as “Hill Station,” a colonial-era term referring to a town higher than the nearby plain. One of the transport links to the mountain stations are small mountain railway trains that run on narrow-gauge tracks, affectionately called “toy trains” in India. The teaser begins with a shot of the top train pulling into Riverdale station.
The Archies gang plays music, dances at parties and in the classroom, and enjoys their time outside. The teaser also gave a glimpse of friends Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor as they fall in love and go through heartbreak. The film’s cast also includes young actors Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda and Vedang Raina.
The Archies will premiere on the OTT platform Netflix.
