Batman director Matt Reeves has an upcoming meeting with new DC Studio co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran. According to a new report, the filmmaker celebrated Cloverfield’s 15th anniversary and confirmed that his BatVerse will be developed alongside the new DC Universe. The talk comes after the DC Comics brand received a “reset,” with the new bosses still fleshing out a 10-year plan for an intertwined storyline akin to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The idea of the meeting is to discuss long term action plans of both parties and make sure they don’t conflict with each other.
