Publix brings back old ice cream flavors for limited time. Here’s the lineup

Publix is bringing back eight ice cream flavors at its stores just in time for the holiday season.

In a release, the company announced that the flavors will return to stores for a limited time starting in September, and they will remain available in half-gallon size while supplies last.

The full list of returning flavors is as follows:

• Eggnog: Rich eggnog-flavored ice cream with a kiss of nutmeg — Debuted in 1992

• Caramel Mountain Tracks: Toffee-flavored ice cream with ribbons of Mackinac caramel, dotted with praline pecans and milk caramel turtles — Debuted in 2007

• Marshmallow Candy Cane & Cookie Blast: Marshmallow-flavored ice cream with bits of candy cane and a chocolate cookie swirl — Debuted in 2019

• Snickerdoodle: Brown butter ice cream with cinnamon graham crumb swirls and graham cookie pieces — Debuted in 2020

• Deep Dish Apple Pie: Apple flavored ice cream swirled with brown sugar-cinnamon sauce, pieces of real apple, and sugar-rolled pie crust — Debuted in 2010

• Peppermint Stick: Luscious vanilla ice cream with festive bits of peppermint candy — Debuted in 1983

• Santa’s White Christmas: The classic flavor of Barnie’s Santa’s White Christmas coffee delightfully mixed with cocoa espresso flakes — Debuted in 2004

• Pumpkin Pie: Pumpkin pie flavored ice cream with swirls of whipped cream and buttery flavored piecrust pieces — Debuted in 2009

Beyond these returning flavors, Publix officials also announced that more limited-edition flavors are set to be unveiled next year.

“Three releases of our limited-edition ice cream flavors excite our customers throughout the year, with our raving fans eagerly anticipating each new batch of flavors,” the company wrote. “Keep an eye out for the next round of limited-edition flavors arriving in stores at the beginning of next year!”
