Disney+ Hotstar has announced a list of 26 movies and shows scheduled for release on its streaming platform in February 2023. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the epic conclusion to Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is available to stream now, 84 days after its theatrical release in November. Designed as a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, the film introduces a new villain in Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, ruler of the underwater kingdom of Talokan. Shortly after, a behind-the-scenes featurette – Marvel Studios Assembled: The Making of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – will be available to stream on February 8th. Also, ahead of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’s theatrical release, the latest season of Marvel Studio Legends offers a refresher on the film’s main characters, with a focus on Ant-Man, Wasp, Hank Pym, and Janet van Dyne.
Anil Kapor (Slumdog Millionaire) titles the Indian catalog for Disney+ Hotstar this month with a Hindi remake of Susanne Bier’s award-winning The night manager – which is itself an adaptation of the novel by John Le Carre. Inside a former soldier (Aditya Roy Kapoor), living a peaceful life as a resort manager, is recruited by Indian intelligence to infiltrate an arms dealer’s inner circle. Labeled as Hotstar Offers project, all episodes of The night manager will be available to stream on February 17th. Also watch the Tamil language drama directed by Prabhu Solomon sembi, in which a tribal woman and her granddaughter are on the run after a tragic mishap with a local police officer. The film will be released on February 3rd on Disney+ Hotstar. Meanwhile, the love series Dear Ishq, directed by Sehban Azim and Niyati Fatnani, continues its run Monday through Saturday.

HBO’s The last of us will continue with the fourth episode on February 6th, with new episodes being released every Monday in India. track joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellies (Bella Ramsey) Road trip to Wyoming, the upcoming plot beat introduces you new character in Kathleen (Melanie Lynskey), the leader of a revolutionary movement in Kansas City. Praised for her performance in Yellowjackets, it will be interesting to see what kind of troubled act she brings to the table. From the galaxy far far away Star Wars: The Bad Batch continues its second chapter, exploring our band of misfits as they take part in exciting mercenary missions and navigate the fallen empire. New episodes stream every Wednesday on Disney+ Hotstar.
out of the house Disney, we only have one title this month – The Proud Family: Louder and Proud, which has its second run on February 1st. While the new year brings career highlights for mum Trudy, it’s Penny Proud, now a 14-year-old, left to deal with a “socially awake” neighbor, battling social media influencers who want to fire her, and with fighting her hormones. All 10 episodes of the animated series are now available on the platform. In addition, FX snowfall season 6 promises an epic conclusion to Franklin Saint’s (Damson Idris) drug empire – based on the Civil War and his struggle for power against Aunt Louie (Angela Lewis). The series will premiere on February 23 in two episodes, after which it will follow a weekly schedule.
In Not Dead Yet Gina Rodriguez (destruction) stars as Nell Serrano, a broke, newly single woman working to restart her life and the stable career she left behind years ago. In the current job market, however, the only job she can land is obituary writing – writing brief descriptions of people who have died. Based on the Porter novel Confessions of a Forty-Something F**k Up by Alexandra Potter, the series begins February 9 with the first two episodes. Post this, new episodes drop every Thursday.
If anime is your thing, watch the first two seasons of Dr. Stone, set in a time when all of humanity has turned to stone. Enter, Senku, a scientific genius who has awakened from a deep sleep and vows to rebuild humanity as it was before, using the sheer power of science. The first two seasons of Dr. Stone will be available to stream on February 17th. We also have Tokyo Revengers Sequel to the second season – an adaptation of the manga’s Christmas Showdown arc. On the K-Drama side, we have Choi Min-sik’s Big Bet for a second season on February 15 – the story of a fabled casino king who puts his life on the line after being embroiled in a murder investigation. Then there’s J-Hope in The Box, a documentary titled bts Icon as he struggles to produce his first solo album. The feature arrives on February 17th on Disney+ Hotstar.
