ORLANDO, Fla. – Zoe Ann Jordan said she watched the “Saw” movies over and over at a young age.

“I was a very young girl, likely too young,” Jordan said in a prepared statement.

This love for horror and writing led her to create the book, “Saw the Musical: The Unauthorized Parody of Saw” — which turned into a musical production that is making stops around the U.S.

It is making its Central Florida stop at Artspace Orlando from Friday to Tuesday.

There are three options for showtimes 1:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 7 p.m. — depending on what day you choose to attend. Ticket prices range from $35 to $135, per the show’s website.

This show is a parody of the first movie of the “Saw” franchise, following from where the characters Lawrence Gordon and Adam Stanheight first find each other inside the iconic bathroom trap, the show’s website states.

It also is a love story, and she said she knew she wanted to make the show with a romantic element from the get-go.

“Horror, and as I’ve always claimed, the ‘Saw’ franchise really holds a lot of potential for conversations about identity, sexuality, gender, acceptance,” Jordan told News 6.

Meanwhile, Jordan noted that this show — just like the movie franchise — is not for kids as there is gore and sexual humor. On the show’s website, it states the musical is recommended for those 16 years or older, and kids under the age of six are not allowed to attend.
