The Mandalorian season 3 trailer is here, ahead of its March 1st release. The latest season of the Star Wars franchise returns after a two-year hiatus, picking up right after The Book of Boba Fett, where our bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and would-be Jedi warrior Grogu/Baby Yoda are reunited. Understandably, the new trailer focuses on the pair’s adventures on Djarin’s home planet of Mandalore and bustling, urban Coruscant, thought to be the homeworld of the sentient human species. Season 3 of The Mandalorian will be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar in India.
The trailer for The Mandalorian Season 3 begins with a voiceover by Pascal’s Djarin said, “Our people are scattered like stars in the galaxy. What are we? What do we stand for?” Accompanied by Grogu in a tiny floating pod, the heroes venture into the far reaches of the galaxy and show how important the knowledge of interstellar navigation is to becoming a Mandalorian. “You never get lost that way,” adds Djarin, setting course for Mandalore in hopes of restoring his honor.
A teasers from Disney’s D23 Expo, held last yearimplied that our protagonist had removed his helmet and revealed his face, thereby losing the right to call himself a Mandalorian.
Further The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer can be seen meeting with Nevarro Magistrate Greef Karga (Karl Wetter) that previously made the planet a respectable business. “I’m going to Mandalore to be forgiven for my transgressions,” says Djarin, presumably with the help of Tatooine mechanic Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris) waving goodbye to our heroes as the spaceship takes off. Elsewhere in The Mandalorian Season 3 trailer, Captain Carson Teva (Paul Sun Hyung Lee) warns Djarin emphatically, claiming the path ahead is dangerous. It’s worth noting that Djarin still wields the Darksaber that entitles him to rule Mandalore, though Bo-Katan (Kate Sackhoff) may have other ideas. Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), who previously lost the weapon in a duel to Djarin, will also return in the coming season.
The Mandalorian Season 3 trailer then spirals into a whirlwind of action sequences that promise intense dogfights, gunfire, and an adorable Anzellan to cheer on our heroes. Grogu is also seen at the end hurling an enemy far away with the powers of the Force. The Armorer (Emily Swallow) is also expected to appear in the series after Djarin was recruited from the Mandalorians. Christopher Lloydbest known for the Back to the Future Filmen, will also make an appearance, although his role is yet to be confirmed.
Elsewhere in the galaxy far, far away, Ashoka Tano is getting a live-action series of the same name entitled Rosario Dawson. Filming for the show began in May and added Hayden Christensen, Natasha Liu and Bordizzo Maria Elizabeth Winstead to the cast. Plot details on the Ahsoka limited series are rare and there is currently no known release window for them.
The third season of The Mandalorian starts on March 1st Disney+ Hotstar.
