The trailer for Episode 5 of The Last of Us is here. As usual, HBO next week previewed the next episode of the zombie apocalypse drama based on the Playstation video game of the same name, announcing a terrifying bloater – the fourth and final evolutionary stage of the infected – a result of years of exposure to the Cordyceps fungus . The upcoming episode, titled “Endure and Survive,” will be directed by Jeremy Webb (The Umbrella Academy) and will premiere on HBO Max and HBO On Demand in the US two days early so it doesn’t collide with Super Bowl LVII event 12 . February. Episode 5 will air on the services February 10 at 9 p.m. ET, while the linear airing on HBO cable will follow its usual Sunday schedule. Gadgets 360 has reached out to Disney+ Hotstar for comment on The Last of Us Episode 5 getting an early release in India as well.

The enemies in question are Henry (Lamar Johnson) and his deaf younger brother Sam (Keivonn Montreal Woodard) hiding from a group of hunters – the new character Kathleen (Melanie Lynskey) revolutionary movement. “Everything went great,” she tells her followers, while we’re rewarded with pictures of her foot soldiers on the manhunt. “Didn’t you hear? Kansas City is free.” As the series continues to pose a major threat to our main couple, it seems like it’s turning its back on it sharply once again Video game 2013, by giving the villains some character building before it comes to a stalemate. It’s not entirely clear why Kathleen is chasing Henry, but it is suspected that this may have something to do with her brother’s death.
“He told me to forgive, but where’s the justice?” she continues offscreen as our main duo join forces with Sam and Henry and help them fight the hunters. Just like the game, the hunters in the HBO Show overthrew FEDRA’s military rule over their quarantine zone. So the only third-party interference they need to worry about is the infiltration of the infected into the city. And with all the commotion and sound waves created by the gunfire and explosions, the infected’s network will respond just as aggressively. The last of us In the trailer for Episode 5, Ellie can be seen still holding the gun she stole from Bill (Nick Offerman) and Frank’s (Murray Bartlett) place with which she saved Joel’s life in a tense situation. Joel now appears to be entrusting her with the gun.
Episode 5 of The Last of Us The trailer then shows some action sequences, with the heavily mutated Bloater charging through the burning streets and a terrified Joel ordering Ellie to avoid the area. The footage also appears to highlight the final confrontation between Kathleen and Henry. “It ends the way it ends,” says Kathleen. Last month, HBO renewed the show for a second season dealing with the events of The Last of Us Part II Game. showrunner Craig Mazin also suggested that the story was “worth more than one television season.”
New episodes of The Last of Us stream every Monday Disney+ Hotstar, at 8:30 in India. Currently, due to its early release in the US, there is no information as to whether episode 5 will air in the country as early as Saturday.
