She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 2 — now available on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar — harkens back to one of the very first Marvel films, The Incredible Hulk, as Tim Roth reprises his role as Emil Blonsky/Abomination from that film. Given that the second chapter of what was then a fledgling Marvel Cinematic Universe was released 14 years ago, I imagine many people have forgotten who Blonsky is. If they even saw the movie in the first place. It’s why, in She-Hulk episode 2, Blonsky reintroduces himself and mentions his fight with Bruce Banner/ Hulk in Harlem.
The latter is strange because Blonsky is referring to a time when Mark Ruffalo did not play the Hulk. As MCU and Hulk fans will recall, Edward Norton was cast in the lead role for The Incredible Hulk before walking away / being replaced — the reasons vary depending on who you ask — by Ruffalo beginning with the first Avengers film in 2012. She-Hulk episode 2 transports us to a time when the MCU was still figuring things out (and what remains one of the most high-profile recastings ever). It’s now an all-consuming beast.

While the second episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is mostly about Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) figuring out her She-Hulk life and the first case at her new job — Supreme Sorcerer Wong (Benedict Wong) stops by, revealing he forced Blonsky into that caged fight we saw in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings — a family dinner is squeezed in. Walters has to deal with her mother attempting to set her up with a random dude, her extended family commenting on her firing, and her father requesting her assistance with a few housekeeping tasks.
The mid-credits scene in She-Hulk episode 2 is explained.
The post-credits scene in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 2 returns to the last of those, with Walters in She-Hulk form holding up the car while her cousin Ched — whom both Bruce and Jennifer despise, as we learned in She-Hulk episode 1 — is changing the tyre and conversing with his uncle and Jen’s father, Morris Walters (Mark Linn-Baker). Funny, but don’t they have a jack in the house?
Morris and Ched are talking about 4K — is it because he works at Best Buy? — and Jen’s father is asking his nephew if it’s worth it. Ched believes it isn’t particularly useful, and he doesn’t see the benefits of 4K. But when Ched tries to tell Morris that he doesn’t know how to change tyres, Morris doesn’t seem to pay attention.
The She-Hulk episode 2 post-credits scene then cuts to Jennifer installing the television on her own. She warns him not to tamper with the wires — more than once. Finally, we are leaving the Walters house, with Jennifer being forced to carry a large number of 20L water cans. “I’m glad you’re staying hydrated, Dad, but this is a little excessive,” She-Hulk quips as the scene fades to black.
As with the post-credits scene in She-Hulk episode 1, this one is just an extended gag — one that didn’t flow naturally with the rest of the episode and thus has its own place in between the credits.
The second episode of She-Hulk is now available on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar. Episode 3 of She-Hulk will be released on September 1 at 12:30pm IST/ 12am PT. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is available in the following Indian languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
