Reliance Jio on Monday announced the launch of its True 5G services in 10 cities – Agra, Kanpur, Meerut, Prayagraj, Tirupati, Nellore, Kozhikode, Thrissur, Nagpur, Ahmednagar.
yo said its users in those cities would be invited to that Jio Welcome Offerto experience unlimited data at speeds of up to 1Gbps at no additional cost, starting Monday. These cities are located in Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Maharashtra.
Jio spokesman said the company has increased the speed and intensity of True 5G rollout across the country
“We are proud to launch Jio True 5G services in these 10 cities across four states. We have increased the speed and intensity of True 5G rollout across the country because we want every Jio user to enjoy the transformative benefits of Jio True 5G technology in the new year of 2023. These newly launched True 5G cities are important Tourism and trade destinations, as well as important educational centers of our country,” said the spokesman.
According to a company release, True 5G has a triple advantage due to its standalone 5G architecture with an advanced fifth-generation cellular system (5G) that is not dependent on the 4G network, the largest and best mix of 5G spectrum over 700MHz, 3500MHz and 26 GHz bands and its carrier aggregation that seamlessly combines these 5G frequencies into a single robust “information superhighway”.
Recently also Reliance announced the launch of Jio True 5G in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ludhiana and Siliguri. Reliance’s 5G services are now available in a total of 72 cities. Jio hopes to roll out its True 5G services to all cities and taluks in India by the end of the year.
Reliance Jio now offers unlimited access to 5G Data to some customers in the city where 5G services are available.
