Jio Phone 5G was recently spotted on Geekbench, hinting at the handset’s key specs ahead of its debut in India. Although the exact launch date has yet to be announced by the country’s largest telecom operator, the rumors about the specifications and features of the new handsets have already surfaced online. According to a listing on a benchmarking website, the Jio Phone 5G could be powered by a Snapdragon 480+ SoC and run on Android 12.
A listing for a smartphone titled “Jio LS1654QB5”. sighted by MySmartPrice on the benchmarking website Geekbench. The listing points out some of the key specs, including the processor, RAM, and operating system.
The rumored Jio Phone 5G smartphone is said to feature a chipset codenamed Holi, meaning the handset could be powered by a Snapdragon 480+ chipset under the hood, paired with an Adreno 619 GPU.
The listing further shows that the Jio Phone 5G scored 549 points in the single-core test and 1661 points in the multi-core benchmark test. The smartphone keeps working Android 12 according to Geekbench entry and could run on Jios PragatiOS.
In addition, the listing also shows that the forthcoming Jio phone 5G will have 4GB of RAM.
The Jio Phone 5G was before tilted 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It could come with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the 5G phone can pack an 8-megapixel sensor on the front.
In addition, the smartphone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W charging. It is also said to come preloaded with Google Mobile Services and Jio apps.
