Vi (Vodafone Idea) has launched a new affordable prepaid top-up plan for users in India. The telecom company has introduced an Rs. 99 plan that offers 200MB of data and talk time worth Rs. 99. The package is according to Vi. Valid for 28 days. The new top-up plan, which has effectively become Vi’s cheapest monthly top-up plan, doesn’t offer unlimited calls and subscribers don’t have access to free SMS. Subscribers also cannot take advantage of Vi’s “Binge All Night” benefit, which offers unlimited data between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM at no additional cost.

According to the telecom operator’s website VI Rs. 99 prepaid plan comes with 200MB of data and talk time worth Rs. 99 for 28 days. The plan offers local and national calls at 2.5 p/s. There are no free SMS benefits and standard charges apply.
Vi prepaid top-up plans at similar prices
Vi’s similarly priced Rs. 98 prepaid plan comes with 200MB of data and unlimited voice calls. Unlike the Rs, this package is only valid for 14 days. 99 charge. There are no free SMS benefits, and once the data quota is exhausted, users will be charged 50p/MB. Like the Rs. 99 plan, Vi doesn’t offer unlimited night data access from 00:00 to 06:00 as part of the Binge All Night perk.
Meanwhile, the Vi Rs. 129 top-up plan offers the same benefits as Rs. 98 prepaid plans, but with 18-day validity. Users who want more data quota can opt for prepaid plans priced at Rs. 149.Rs. 155 and Rs. 209. While the Rs. 149 and Rs. 155 plans offer 1GB of data for 21 days and 24 days respectively, the Rs. 209 plan offers 4GB of data with 28 days validity.
These plans also offer unlimited phone and SMS benefits. Users can also get an additional 2GB of data with the Rs. 209 prepaid tariff when topped up via the Vi app. The telecom operator has also announced perks like Binge all Night, weekend data rollovers and Data Delight with Hero unlimited daily data top-up plans worth Rs. 299 and above.
