Fleet optimization company Fleetio and telematics software provider Razor Tracking are partnering up on a management platform, providing real-time vehicle tracking, preventative maintenance alerts and more.
The cloud- and mobile-based system automates maintenance management for fleets, by taking in recall alerts, tracking fuel use, and logging vehicle inspections. It also tracks drivers to ensure they’re making deliveries to the correct locations, and sends alerts for speeding vehicles, harsh breaking, poor driving and inclement weather.
“With direct access to diagnostic data from leading manufacturers like John Deere, Case IH and New Holland, fleets can optimize operations and increase productivity with greater precision and insight,” Fleetio product marketing manager Stefano Daneri said, with Razor Tracking managing partner Eric Mauch noting that the system includes in-vehicle devices and dash cameras as well.
