Australian courier Sendle has launched a new U.S. package delivery service dubbed Sendle Two-Day Guaranteed starting at $8.48, anywhere in the U.S. in two business days or less, with tracking and $150 of insurance coverage. If the package doesn’t arrive in two business days, Sendle will completely refund the delivery.
Sendle recently introduced a Three-Day Guaranteed service.
The company says the two-day service, announced July 27, provides small businesses with an alternative to big-name corporations, such as UPS, and claims it is completely carbon neutral.
“As a company that is always moving quickly to provide the best services to address the needs of the small business market, we are proud to have introduced two new services this month that position us as a very strong challenger to UPS,” said Tom Byun, Sendle’s president for North America. “While the threat of a crippling nationwide UPS strike is now behind us, the past few years have been an important reminder that there is always some level of uncertainty in the logistics industry. It reinforces the need for diversification using a parcel delivery solution like Sendle so small businesses – especially online retailers – can ensure the continuity of their operations no matter what disruptions may lie ahead.”
