ZIM Launches Service Connecting U.S., Canada and Asia

The Israel-based international cargo shipping company ZIM announced January 25 that it had launched ZIM Pacific Northwest Xpress (ZPX), a new service linking Asia, the U.S. and Canada via the Vancouver Gateway.

The service commenced operations January 21 from Cai Mep, Vietnam with a rotation that goes to Yantian, Kaohsiung, Xiamen, Ningbo, Shanghai, Vancouver, Pusan and then back to Cai Mep.

ZIM said that the service also includes rail connectivity covering major inland Canadian and U.S. interior point intermodal (IPI) destinations.

“ZIM remains committed to providing agile premium solutions that cater to the market’s evolving needs,” said Hani Kalinski, ZIM’s executive vice president of the Pacific Business Unit. “The launch of ZPX reaffirms our dedication to delivering unparalleled shipping solutions with exclusive premium features.”
