The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro rugged tablet is now available for purchase. The tablet has been in the news for some time, and according to reports, Samsung is now preparing to launch it later this month. The rugged tablet, according to the company, has military-grade toughness, advanced productivity features, and the Samsung Knox security platform. It has a 10.1-inch display, an unspecified octa-core processor, support for the S Pen, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and a fingerprint sensor for biometric security.
Price and availability of the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro
According to a Samsung announcement, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro will be available in parts of Europe later this month. Later in 2022, the tablet will be available in Asia, Latin America, North America, and the Middle East.

The dual SIM Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro (available in North America only) runs the Android 12.0-based One UI mobile experience. It features a 10.1-inch WUXGA (1,920×1,200 pixel) TFT LCD display and an unspecified SoC. According to rumors, it could be a Snapdragon 778G SoC. The tablet has up to 6GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro has a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with an f/1.9 aperture lens for photos and videos. A front-facing 8-megapixel sensor is paired with an f/2.0 aperture lens.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro has up to 128GB of storage that can be expanded with a microSD card up to 1TB. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port are among the connectivity options. Sensors include accelerometers, geomagnetic sensors, gyroscopes, light sensors, hall sensors, and proximity sensors. The tablet also has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home key, as well as face recognition.
The tablet has a removable 7,600mAh battery that can be quickly replaced when needed. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro also has an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, MIL-STD-810H standard durability, 1.2m anti-shock with Inbox Protective Cover, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The tablet has dimensions of 242.9×170.2×10.2mm and weighs 674g.
