WhatsApp allegedly sent users a request for a secure chat while soliciting feedback. According to the report, users will be able to decline such WhatsApp requests. A new feature that allows users to send messages to themselves from linked devices is also said to be in testing.
According to WABetaInfo, a WhatsApp feature tracker, WhatsApp may be working on a secure in-app survey chat. Users should be able to decline invitations to survey chats and even block WhatsApp from sending future surveys. According to reports, WhatsApp will keep user feedback from this survey private.
According to the report, WhatsApp would only use the survey chat for feedback purposes. There is no word on when this feature will be made available to users. However, it is expected to be released to a very small number of users at first.
