The Xiaomi 12T Pro has supposedly been found on the website of Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), indicating that the smartphone is on its way to multiple Asian markets. The smartphone has already been spotted on the website of the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and it has been reported that internal testing of the phone has already begun in Asian and European regions. Meanwhile, a newspaper claims to have gotten an image indicating that the Xiaomi 12T pro will include a 200-megapixel camera.
According to the tweet by tipster Mukul Sharma, the rumored Xiaomi 12T Pro has received NBTC certification. Sharma’s photograph reveals that the Xiaomi phone has the model number 22081212UG. A smartphone with an identical model number has already been spotted on the FCC website in the United States. According to the listing, it will have 5G 4G LTE network connectivity, dual-SIM compatibility, and NFC support. It could come with storage choices of 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB RAM + 256GB.
The Xiaomi 12T is rumoured to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K50S Pro, which is expected to launch globally as the Xiaomi 12T Pro. According to the Compulsory Certification of China (3C) database, the handset would have 120W fast charging capabilities and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Aside from that, the phone is expected to have a 200-megapixel primary sensor.
Since the Redmi K50S Pro and the Xiaomi 12T Pro are said to have the similar features, it is reasonable to expect the latter to include a 200-megapixel sensor as well. This assumption is supported by a report in the French newspaper Phonandroid (via GSMArena). According to the source, they have obtained a photograph of the Xiaomi 12T Pro indicating a 200-megapixel triple rear camera arrangement.
The image shows a smartphone module with three cameras and a resolution of “200MP.” The Xiaomi 12T Pro is said to have the same design as the Xiaomi 12 Pro but a more protruding camera module. According to a recent source, the Xiaomi 12T series could be released in October of this year in Black, Blue, and Silver colour options.
