Mr. Domansky has distinguished himself as Manager of Facility Engineering and Construction for NJ Transit.
WEST MILFORD, NJ December 18, 2022 /24-7press release/ — Alexandr Domansky, FMP, CSS, has been included in the Marquis Who’s Who. Mr. Domansky has over 20 years of security and facilities management experience and has made a name for himself as the facility engineering and construction manager for NJ Transit. After joining NJ Transits Organizational Services as a Supervisor in 2020, he also assumed the role of Acting Facility Manager that same year. Since 2021, he has focused his efforts on maintaining the NJ TRANSIT headquarters and main office building of NJ TRANSIT and two warehouses.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Domansky began his career as a Security Officer and shortly thereafter became an Armed Security Officer and Supervisor for Command Security Corporation from 2001-2006 while also serving at JMS Investigations Inc for a year in 2002. In addition to these roles, from 2003-2014 he served as Senior Deputy Sheriff for the Essex County Sheriff’s Office. From 2006 to 2010 he was a manager for Abbry Security LLC and subsequently became facilities manager and security manager for Hudson Community Enterprises in 2010. In 2018 he was promoted to manager of building services and held this role until 2020.
During his professional career, Mr. Domansky earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice from Passaic County College in 2021. Well qualified in his field, he has acquired numerous certificates in the areas of emergency preparedness and management as well as facility management. He is a certified security specialist and has earned the Facility Management Professional designation. Outside of his primary career endeavors, Mr. Domansky has currently served as Special Police Officer Class 2 for the West Milford Township Police Department since 2017. He was also a valued member of the International Facility Management Association.
Looking ahead, Mr. Domansky intends to complete his bachelor’s degree in general management and become a more accomplished executive. He is also pursuing a Sustainable Facility Professional Designation Program from the International Facility Managers Association as he has always been a fast learner committed to expanding his skills.
