MENOMONIE, WI, November 27, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Andrew Cseter has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. Drawing on over 35 years of expertise in the field of academia, Mr. Cseter specializes in American politics and government education and the federal TRIO Programs. Since 2012, he has found much success as a community faculty professor at Metropolitan State University, where he previously served as the director of TRIO student services and underrepresented retention programming from 2008 until 2023. In his current capacity, Mr. Cseter is responsible for providing grant fund management, program development, retention services, instruction, experiential learning, and college access and college success to first-generation college students, low-income, and disability groups.
Mr. Cseter worked at the University of Wisconsin-Stout from 1987 to 2008 in a variety of roles, including as a director of student services and TRIO programs, and an adjunct faculty professor for Global Studies. In his career-related endeavors, he has authored such works as “SSS Creating Global Experiences for First-Generation and Limited Income College Students” in 2016.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Cseter pursued an education at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in public and environmental administration in 1985. He continued his academic efforts at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Graduate School, earning a Master of Science in guidance and counseling in 1988. Additionally, he has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the Council for Opportunity in Education, the Minnesota and Wisconsin Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel, and the Midwest Educational Opportunity Association, among others. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Cseter contributes his expertise to AbleLight, the National TRIO Alumni Association, and various community foundations and organizations.

Reflecting on his achievements, he attributes much of his success to his passion for his specialty, and to his dedication to creating systemic and cultural climate changes to assist the underrepresented individuals in academia.
